Yes, it is absolutely required that you remove all furniture and belongings from the area where the concrete coating will be applied. This must be done before we arrive at the location the day of the install. This will allow our team to work efficiently and without any obstacles or potential safety hazards in their way. We understand that this can be a daunting task, which is why we can help arrange a pod rental for storage. With a pod rental, you can have all your belongings safely stored away during the coating process, giving you peace of mind. We can work around fixed furniture and appliances like mounted storage cabinets, racks, water heater tanks, plumbing, etc. but every case is different, that is why an in-person evaluation is highly recommended. If required, we could arrange the temporary removal and re-installation of water heater tanks.

To maintain your Royale Floors, we recommend regular sweeping with a soft-bristled broom or vacuuming with a soft brush attachment to remove dirt and debris as these can become abbrasive enough and may act as sandpaper as you walk on your floors, slowly removing the gloss finish. For tougher stains or spills, use a damp mop with a mild soapy cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals containing solvents or acids, or abrasive tools that could scratch or damage the surface. Battery acid and brake fluid are well known to be particularly harmful, so you want to clean these up as soon as possible. Although our concrete coatings are rock hard, we suggest placing felt pads and surface mats under heavy furniture, storage cabinets, racks and motorcycle side stands to prevent scratches and unnecesary single point pressure. We want to see all of our floors succeed. Our floors are meant to last for decades. From a business perspective, we don't benefit from a failing floor and an unhappy customer, so we want to ensure you are 100% confident your time and money are well spent. Beware of some contractors offering a so-called "Lifetime Warranty" or hard-to-believe multi-decade transferrable warranties. These are usually limited warranties, so you're not fully covered. These limited warranties usually only include one year of material and labor; after that, they could charge anything for labor, even as much as what you originally paid. Service fees could also be involved, along with complicated and unfavorable conditions for you as a customer. We encourage you to read the fine print carefully and ask questions! Ask for the warranty document before falling into this marketing trick. We offer a straightforward, Full 3-year Warranty on all our residential flooring products and services. This means that if you experience any issues with your flooring due to manufacturer defects or installation issues, we will repair or replace the affected area at no cost, even if that requires doing it all over again.
